very clean spacious apartment with everything you need for your stay includes essentials like tea coffee which is really helpful particularly for shorter stays. walking distance to the lakeside and the entre and not far from the station. Quokka staff very responsive and helpful

positive: - easy access, train station ~15min on foot, city central & lake ~10min, good connection to public transport - the flat is clean and organized, the kitchen is well-equipped for cooking - washing machine negative: - it is located right next to the main road so it is extremely noisy, can't sleep well even with closed windows, partially because the mobile climate is attached to the window therefoer practically there is no soundproofing. Also, the mobile climate is useless as it is even noisier than the street, when you switch on, not just you can't sleep but your children will wake up for sure too - it is crazy hot during summer, see the issue with mobile climate - the bed is pretty uncomfortable, clearly serves since a while - there is zero friendly-Airbnb vibe, the place is operated by a company (Quokka), no personal touch, they make you pay for everything, no flexibility (we asked for early checkin) and so on. A good choice for last resort and for short term.

Very nice clean spacious apartment not far from many amenities. It is up a fairly steep hill up from the lake. It is also on a noisy street with quite a bit of traffic all night so keep the windows closed. Lugano is great--a fair-sized town, beautiful lake, but not choked with tourists.

Die Unterkunft war geräumig und die Küche gut ausgestattet. Allerdings liegt die Wohnung an einer sehr lauten Straße, die einen wach macht. Es fehlte etwas Klopapier und 2 Spülmaschinen-Tabs sind leider zu wenig für 5 Personen bei 4 Nächten. Insgesamt ein sehr schöner Aufenthalt und man gut zusammen in der Wohnung sitzen.
