Beautiful little cottage situated just outside the center of Bakewell (~5 min walk from main roundabout and bus stop), host was friendly and accommodating to my arrival. The cottage itself is very nice, comfortable beds and was nice and clean.

Lovely cottage. Far more space than expected from the description photos. Althoughit is on a main road it was very quiet with very little traffic noise. Back garden was secluded and pleasant to sit in on an evening when it caught the sun. Spent most early mornings with my coffee in the front garden where the sun reached the bench around 7. Lovely host, made check in easy, offered suggestions of things to do and checked if all was OK during our stay. The listing mentioned possible disturbance due to adjacent building works - there was none when we stayed. Not really a downside, but be aware the steps from the road to the cottage are steep and can be awkward if carrying baggage. Should be fine for most people though.

A lovely cosy cottage with everything we needed. Parking a bit of a problem but understandable with its location. Host very friendly & helpful and gave us a great recommendation for a local restaurant.

Wer good old England-Feeling haben möchte, wird dieses Cottage lieben. Knarrende Holzdielen, wuchtige Möbel und Kronleuchter, umgeben von einem verwunschenen kleinen Garten. Gut ausgestattete Küche, warmes Wasser/Heizung und alles sehr sauber. Das Cottage liegt direkt an einer der Einfahrtsstraßen nach Bakewell, daher während der Rushhour etwas laut. Dafür perfekte Lage, um zu Fuß ins Zentrum zu laufen in eines der vielen Cafés und Pubs.
