We had a lovely week at Y Bwthyn! The house had everything we needed and the layout was perfect for us - my parents had their own twin room with en suite shower room upstairs and we had a double room next to our boys downstairs. The owner was so lovely - she left a little hamper of goodies for our arrival - fresh bread, milk, jam, butter and welsh cakes 😋The children were able to play in her gardens and they loved the pond! The house is perfectly situated to go to all the beautiful beaches. We even walked from the house to pick up the Welsh coastal path to Llangrannog (it’s a long walk!). Y Bwthyn was a great find 😊

The cottage was perfect and as described, lounge was upstairs, with baby gates top and bottom if required. The kitchen was well stocked with dinnerware, cutlery glasses etc. Beryl the owner was so lovely and welcoming, fresh bread, Welsh butter and jam for us as a welcome on arrival. Beryl was helpful and gave us lots of ideas where to visit etc, hidden gem was a lake with places to sit and enjoy the welsh countryside, would definitely recommend for a relaxing time in the welsh countryside, too far to walk into Newquay but a taxi ride was only £7 each way, hopefully will be visiting again next year xx

Owner was extremely friendly and helpful and Welsh cakes, freshly baked bread, scones Welsh butter and clotted cream which was very welcome after a long drive. Children loved the place and especially Llangrannog beach. Top marks all round

We enjoyed our stay at Bwthyn. The property is well equipped and within walking distance of NewQuay (as long as you are okay with hills!) The patio area was good for breakfast with a pleasant walk down to the lake and garden which is a great place to relax and gets the sun for most of the day. We especially enjoyed the putting green. The owners were very attentive and always on hand to help. A really nice property and definitely one of the best we have stayed in and we would definitely re-visit in the future.
