This cabana comes with it's own lounging area as well as open space to stretch/yoga while waking up to the sounds of life. Private outdoor bathroom with sky views! Be amazed with the unique experience of spending time in nature in a 100% sustainable retreat and only 10 minute drive to Tulum crowds and the bustle of down town. In the middle of the jungle between the Ancient Mayan ruins and the pristine beaches of Tulum. We are 100% sustainable and very conscious with nature and the environment. We're run by solar panels so although there is electricity and fans in all the cabanas, we ask you to be conscious of it's use and help us preserve the jungle as untouched as possible. We use a 100% ecological system called ELEMENTAL to treat our grey waters and not damage mother Earth. So we ask you not to throw any papers or toiletry down the WC to help the system do its job of NO contamination to the planet. We are surrounded by underground rivers, cenotes and a majestic fauna and flora; your stay with us will be completely magical!!! Me encantó el lugar, la atmósfera, la tranquilidad... estar en el bullicio de la ciudad y luego ir a descansar a este lugar, es una experiencia maravillosa... incluso me quedé dos noches más de las planeadas por lo lindo del sitio
Nous avons adoré notre séjour à Lumapi : un confort simple et très "nature". Le logement était très agréable, ainsi que les parties communes. A notre grande surprise nous n'avons pas eu de moustiques (il vaut quand même mieux avoir un insecticide...). Il est préférable de communiquer avec l'hôte par WA car il n'est pas très réactif par la plateforme. Sinon, wifi parfait au milieu de nulle part : bravo !
Lovely place, we had an amazing stay. Wonderful to be surrounded by the jungle and it's sounds. Sadly it feels like the neighbourhood will get more crowded soon. A lot of construction work going on and houses being built. Wish the place would stay peaceful and isolated.
Lumapi is really a gem. It’s peaceful and hidden away from the rest of the Tulum bustle which I loved. When I arrived at the cabana it was much more basic than in the photos which was fine but just be aware…much less decorations and no wine to welcome you haha. Felt a bit bare inside the cabana I stayed in at least. Nevertheless it suited my simple needs. Taxis in the area are expensive as alll get out so rent a scooter or car if you can. The collectivo (public transport) does run every 20-30min but it’ll be an adventure to get you where you need to go. Don’t listen to the taxi drivers telling you they only come every 2-3hrs. Not true. Also would be nice if the owners or managers could be a bit more helpful with that (knowing more about the collectivo) as the place is so far out and taxis are outrageously priced. Most expensive in the world right now. All in all - Lumapi is a great rest. Wild dreams. Simple. Peaceful.
Un petit paradis excentré de Tulum. C'est calme et verdoyant. On peut observer les oiseaux. La cuisine collective est un plus. L'accès par le chemin se fait facilement. La salle de bain est très bien. Tout est aménagé de façon harmonieuse et pratique.

Our location is peacefully situated between the Coba Ruins and the beach. It is off the same main road (Coba) as the following cenotes!

RENT A CAR: The easiest and most flexible way to get around is renting a car and this is highly recommended. There are several great companies. We like ALAMO, FOX RENT A CAR, and AMERICAN RENTAL.
TAXIS: We have 2 taxis that you can "call" on WhatsApp that know exactly where Lumapi is. If unavailable, you'll have to flag down a taxi and give good directions. Taxis charge around 150mx to 250mx to Tulum town. Easier to catch a taxi in town going back to Lumapi then the other way around. Prices also can change depending on demand.

We embrace the "leave no trace" philosophy and really want you to join us to witness that it is possible to travel, have all the fun, and yet be respectful to the spaces that welcome you. Reset and immerse yourself into the jungle away from digital distractions. Notice time slowing down and be awakened each morning by the singing of tropical birds, goodbye annoying alarms. During your stay at Lumapi you can expect to find 6 private cabanas and 3 shared spaces. We have a beautiful Central Palapa where you can enjoy your morning cup of coffee filled with sun-rays peeking through the leaves of the Mayan jungle. We also offer a plunge pool to escape the heat of the tropical sun and a large deck where you can mediate or even do some yoga!
