Our stay at Villa Maite was excellent. We felt right at home. Everything you could need for a self catering holiday was supplied. Beds comfortable. We had an amazing holiday thanks to our wonderful accommodation.

This villa (Villa Maite) is just superb. Has everything we wanted for our holiday in Nerja with the privacy of our own pool, hot tub, outdoor areas to relax / sunbathe and a charcoal barbecue. We are a family of 4. ‘Children’ are 21 (m) and 17 (f) and we all thoroughly enjoyed a very relaxed stay here and would consider doing so again. The villa looks to be very new or newly renovated since everything, inside and out, is perfectly finished and decorated. It also has homely touches throughout. All three bedrooms are air conditioned so you can stay cool at night. The rental company service (Maribel and Juan) were excellent 10/10. Contact was initiated early by them and all instructions are provided over WhatsApp which made everything very simple. The villa was perfectly cleaned when we arrived and had no issues at all throughout our stay. The villa is about 25 mins walk from the Balcon de Europa in Nerja (downhill there, uphill back but not very steep), but we didn’t really mind the walks when we went into the town. Villa is also just at the start of the Rio Chillar river walk which is a great hike up the mountain through the river (not very deep, ankle depth mostly, but several pools and small waterfalls along the way). The immediate surrounding area isn’t particularly attractive, but you’re a short walk to the edge of the town so it’s fine. The street is a little narrow so take care navigating your car between others parked on it. Supermarkets are about 15 minute walk away (SuperSol and Mercadona) for you to stock up on groceries. The whole of Nerja, including the location of this villa seems totally safe. We witnessed nothing of concern anywhere. Overall, like us if privacy is important for your stay in Nerja, this place is great. Highly recommend it.
