Amazing place! The huge screened porch overlooks a large expanse of salt marsh for bird watching, with the ocean just in sight. So quiet and peaceful!

This is our 4th time staying at the birdhouse and we will continue to return year after year. Ms Annita was exceptionally communicative throughout the tentativeness of the week leading up to Hurricane Idalia and the days following. We were grateful to be able to stay, and more importantly, grateful that the island did not sustain any serious damage. Mr Chris and Ms Barbara are so kind and helpful, and the food is always delicious. Rent a truck from them and check out Cabretta if you have a chance! We will be back again!

The Birdhouse Cottage was an amazing escape for our anniversary. A beautiful marsh and ocean view. Well appointed house including a kitchen with every pan, utensil, or gadget you’d need for a full family meal. Comfort at every turn including great beds, comfy couches, and an inviting screened porch overlooking the marsh. Annita was incredibly responsive to our questions and her onsite help, Freida was fantastic in helping us get to know the island.
