Our group had a wonderful stay with Macioca! He gave a thorough tour of the house and, despite living on the property, then gave us plenty of space unless there was anything we needed. The house itself was large with comfy beds and lots of mirrors & dressers. The grounds of the property are really highlight, with a giant covered patio, waterfall, duck pond, and peacock enclosure all within arm's distance. Not to mention the owner's awesome pup who would casually stop by to hang out with the whole group and was such a sweetheart! Everyone on our trip couldn't get enough of how wonderful this place was - will definitely book again next time we're in Monticello!

The owner is extremely kind and understanding and was very welcoming when we met him at check-in. The house was as seen in the pictures. The house being isolated is great but it comes with the cost of not having great phone service. The air-conditioning was only in a few of the rooms so that is definitely a heads up if anyone plans on renting during the summer. Other than that, everything was great!

Plenty of space. Very close to holiday mountain for some snowboarding and very close to the casino both are less than 15 mins away from the house. Teddy(the host) lives on the property and explains everything you need to know about the house. He was very helpful and very thoughtful. He brought us a few little things while we were there. The pictures aren’t the greatest but when you get to the house you really see how spacious it is

Could be a nice AIRBNB find. No WIFI the whole trip. We were told to go to the casino for WIFI. A number of the other amenities that are listed are not available. Hot tub was dirty covered in leaves and had no water. Wasn't able to find an Nespresso machine, washer and dryer, ironing board, and had issues with the dish network tv. Maybe it was just an off week?? Second floor has an oddly inoperable kitchen. Cleaning was subpar. Host got rather irate after I brought up the wifi issues and asked for a partial refund to right this. He claimed it wasn't his fault he hadn't payed the bill. Besides all the above, it was a house with multiple beds and plenty of space we could stay in, so that was nice.

Teddy was a great host. I would definitely rent his place again. He make sure you have a pleasant stay
