The cottage was spacious and clean. Linen nice and fresh and comfy beds Well equipped kitchen. The pool is not available as advertised. It says shared and can book slots but inaccurate. They allocated slots to us of 7-8 each am and 4-5 afternoon We were only able to use once. We asked to change times but the host actually let the pool out to locals at a £35 an hour rate and they take priority. Sadly our kids got to use once out of possible six swims. One of our children is disabled so we were very disappointed and had to deal with an upset child. No basic essentials so take tea coffee and sugar etc. only thing there was salt and pepper. Charge for electric is separate. Take some change to put in the envelope. Take £100 cash as they ask for this as a deposit and ask for it to be left at the cottage. Envelope for hot tub and dog staying too. Take an extra towel as only one per person. Take bin bags and dishwasher tabs !!! Mouse in the cupboard in one of the bedrooms. Hot tub is good but lid is already broken. I would say cottage is very tired and not 5* as plaque says on wall outside. The bathrooms are tired. I’ve used air bnb accom quite a few times and this is my least favourite and I got the sense that the hosts are very money oriented. We paid £1995 for three nights so whilst this is not extortionate I would have expected better. Disappointed ☹️
