Perfectly located in Vila Nova de Gaia, the house is an easy walk to the riverfront and across the pedestrian bridge to Porto. The views of Porto from the neighborhood are beautiful. The house is small, but cozy and very clean. The owner runs a grocery store with a breakfast restaurant/cafe around the corner, where a wonderful complimentary breakfast is served each morning. On Sundays and holidays, when the shop is closed, they will deliver breakfast to you at the house. And, if you are driving, parking at a nearby lot is included, which is a HUGE bonus as parking near there is very difficult.

Esta é a quarta vez que me hospedo nesse local. Recomendo fortemente para aqueles interessados em explorar Vila Nova de Gaia e Porto, pois oferece uma localização privilegiada e anfitriões excepcionais. É possível acessar diversos pontos de interesse caminhando, eliminando a necessidade de usar o carro.

We enjoyed our stay. The apartment was clean and comfortable. I always sleep with earplugs when I travel so can’t comment on noise. We are a couple 60 and 65, in good health and relatively fit. We did find traversing from the parking area (which was a nice plus) with our luggage up/down stairs to alley entry a bit challenging. The stairs in the apartment are a bit like a spiral staircase, so while we enjoyed our stay, the apartment may not be the best choice if you have any mobility issues. The hosts were great and even provided a massive “to go” breakfast our last morning as we headed out early. Aside from possible accessibility issues if you have limited mobility, we would recommend this lovely spot.

Lo único que puedo decir como desafío es si tienes malas grandes, porque está en un bonito pasaje con muchas escaleras. Por la lluvia que agarramos, fue un poco complicado. Sin embargo, esto no disminuye para nada el placer de estar en este local. Muy cerca de restaurantes y cavas, pero a uma distancia conveniente para que tengas una noche tranquila. Lo mejor: el desayuno en Bernardino. Está por la calle de abajo, a pasos del departamento. Muy simpáticas las dueñas, y de buena cinversación. Es un local donde desayunan los vecinos, por lo que es una experiencia diferente.
