Wonderful stay with a view of the river from lounge window. Good pubs in walking distance. Booked as close to Bewilderwood, our two little ones enjoyed it. Also close to indoor play areas for little ones, weather wasnt great so needed this close by. Summer would be great as the garden will offer lots of hours of fun. Overall, had a good time and host always was on standby, even though all went well and didn't need them.
Pretty cottage in a great location, close to shops, pubs and the riverside. A friendly welcome from the hosts, who showed us round and explained how things worked. Well thought-out facilities with everything provided for, even milk and tea ready for us. Highly recommended.
Brambles is not just Great. It is F-a-b-u-l-o-u-s. The historic cottage with its lovely garden with barbeque and all mod. cons. and most comfortable beds filled our every need. We (86, 54, 22 year old) really were in seventh heaven. The peaceful location overlooking the Broads is perfect. We enjoyed visiting The Radar Museum, Fellbrigg Hall and Toad Hole Cottage, Southern Comfort paddle steamer tour of the Broads, Timeline Antiques Centre at North Walsham and shopping at Wroxham to name a few. Richard and Sue our interesting and friendly hosts and Siamese, Donna. who visited us in the garden, added up to a week of perfection we will never forget.
This is a charming old cottage with low timbered ceilings, three spacious bedrooms on the ground and first floor and a clean and pleasant bathroom accessible through the kitchen at the back of the house. The hosts are very helpful and will give you a full and detailed tour of the place, and were also very accommodating, allowing us to leave our things in the property while we finished our work for the day, and providing many great local tips. There is a super useful utility cabin with a washer and dryer, a large beautiful garden and a pretty cat! The location was perfect for our work on a local nature reserve but would make a great base for a holiday, too!
