Lovely cottage, clean, tranquil, flexible check in and an amazing farm ! Do the little tour, see a working farm, see all the animals. Amazing host and a brilliant peaceful place to get some R&R!
Absolute bliss. The perfect country getaway. It is in the middle of nowhere so arrive fully stocked, but it’s not a long drive into Keswick which is beautiful and has plenty of shops. The hiking was glorious, Stickle tarn is about an hour away and well worth the drive. Rydal caves is about the same distance and equally worth it. There are loads of lovely walks closer, lots of hiking maps online. The cottage couldn’t of been better. Cosy, quiet, clean, and the fire was perfect. The host topper up the wood and kindling every evening. I loved every second, the perfect place to rest and reset before getting back to city life. I will absolutely be back.
