This house is amazing! First of all, the host, Made, is so nice and helpful. He also offers driver services. He picked us up at our port and showed us to the property, which is beautiful. The pool feels amazing after a hot afternoon of walking around downtown Ubud. His wife makes a delicious breakfast and if you want to go out, check out the Yellow Flower cafe close by. Great location, fantastic view, super comfortable bed, filtered water in the kitchen. A must stay for anyone who wants to be close to town but still have peace and quiet.

Made’s place is exactly as described and he is a very welcoming and helpful host. The cottage is in a quiet location with great morning views.

Ich war leider nur 4 Tage in diesem hübschen Cottage, aber diese waren die besten 4 Tage meiner ganzen Reise. Ich habe mich ab der 1 Sekunde sauwohl gefühlt auf dem Balkon: der grüne, weite Ausblick, die Stille beim Anblick des Vulkans früh morgens wenn die Sonne aufgeht, Made bringt das Frühstück auf den Balkon, danach spring ich in kleinen, sehr frischen Pool:) und starte den Tag… Allein schon diese Morgende hatten einen enormen Erholungswert! Ich bin Made und seiner herzlichen Frau tief dankbar. Dazu die vielen, kleinen Gänge, die Penestanan so idyllisch machen, Autos nicht möglich! Überall Ruhe! Und doch in der Nähe von busy Ubud City. Das ‚Yellow Flower Café‘ hat sehr gutes Essen. Außergewöhnlich ist Restaurant ‚Zest‘. Nächstes Jahr komme ich wieder zu Mades Juwel… dann für länger 😌

Walking into Mades home is a unique experience as the house and the pool have been built and designed so sensitively to feel like part of the beautiful, peaceful rainforest surrounding it. Made is very friendly and makes you feel welcome , is easy to contact and nothing is too much trouble. Intuitive flow yoga studio and the delicious food of the yellow flower cafe are just two minutes away. With only a short walk to Penestanan village, it's in a perfect position. Made is very knowledgeable of life in Ubud and is happy to help organise numerous, interesting activities. I will be back here for sure to this lovely home in a perfect location. Thankyou Made.

This was a lovely villa to stay in. The host was quick to respond and available to help with whatever we needed. Breakfast was delicious too.
