I usually do not submit reviews, but this time, it was important. I and my siblings(5 of us) planned to visit this place christmas weekend 2021, and the expectation was a good experience in terms of camping. I won't say that place wasn't good. It was good in terms of migratory birds, huge trees of gooseberry, and mangos. If you want to spot the birds, then this place is best. The place is quite raw and you can roam in the village,trek to a nearby beautiful waterfall caller baraati water fall whose entry fee is Rs 50/person You might meet a kid there who will accompany you. He frequently gets epileptic attacks. It was scary when I saw for the first time. Nevertheless, there are key points about this place: 1) For these tents booking, there are common washrooms whose doors from top are open. Which raises security for females. 2) There is no mobile network connectivity except Jio. So, be aware if you are using any other network. 3) The Wi-Fi range is very low, and it's only in one of their dormitories. 4) They have dogs, which usually play around. During my 3-night stay, they barked at least 1.5-2 hours daily because of animal visits. Even if you stay in rooms or dormitories, if you wake up due to low sound, then this is not the place for you. During the daytime, this place is very peaceful. 5) If you are booking for tent, the host as substitute will give you dormitory which is common for males and females where 8 people can accommodate. few others in the kitchen area. 6) There are rooms (4 with attached bathroom upstairs and 1 bed room for 3 people on the ground floor); they are chargeable extra. it's not clear in the description of the property. 7) Bonfire is chargeable other than tent charges. (Rs 500). 8) Food served was delicious undoubtedly ( non veg Rs250/person and veg Rs 200/person including taxes) 9) Breakfast is included in this booking. 10) The place is not that clean as I said it's raw. 11) behind the kitchen area, there is a small pond which is very soothing. I conveyed the host about the security concern staying in tent is not a good idea because wild animals come, and it's scary because neither you can call anyone over the phone because of no connectivity. I was skeptical in sharing the dormitory with other males, but I had no choice on the last day. I conveyed that washrooms opened from top, is not a good idea, and they don't even have a proper locking mechanism. Somehow, I felt roopsi wasn't convinced, and I was disappointed with the behavior on the last day. I didn't feel welcome on the bonfire; instead of taking the feedback positively, I felt she was offended and kept talking about it money part. though I paid everything in advance and paid all other things (extra for staying in room. ( which I wasn't aware of), food)Even after saying that it's not about money. She tried accomdating us as per our comfort, but there were few things which are really not clear in the description.Though the vision of this homestay is great, and I appreciate it. Personal suggestions: 1) If you want village experience then it's a nice place. 2) If you want a good camping experience, then this is not the right place. 3) If you are looking for organic honey or organic food, then this is a nice place 4) If you are scared of wild animals, then it's not the right place. 5) If you need network connectivity, then this is not the right place. 6) If you are fine staying in dormitory sharing common in India, then this place is reasonable. 7) it usually gets quite cold at night, so staying in these tents is definitely not a good idea. 8) If you love Indian food, then you must try the food... especially their chutneys are outstanding. 9) If you are not fine using insecure restrooms, then don't do this booking; instead, try to book their rooms. I hope this review helps you choose the place based on the experience you want.

It's a quiet place in the woods away from the city hustle. The people are really helpful and won't bother you much during your stay. You should have your own vehicle to commute as the places to visit are a little far. The rooms are simple and nothing fancy. Do not expect a royal experience. This place is simple and good for people who like peaceful places. If you're going with your girlfriend, tell her the washrooms aren't big enough before you book. Happy stay ☺️

Wow wow wow... What an amazing experience like I can't even explain it in words what I can only say is just pack your bags and just go there , the place is so big with all the facilities and very very close to nature, the night sky is so beautiful and don't forget to play around with dogs Lolly and Maruti they are so friendly and playful , overall everything is literally 5 star whether food , activities, people etc. It's not always about those cosy hotel rooms , try something new within nature and spend some time here at Harrymans you would love it.
