The place is beyond words and expectations for those looking to get away from the hustle bustle in the truest sense of the word. It's a pure patch of nature, with fresh air, water and delicious home cooked food. Amla trees and greenery are in abundance here. The host and staff are extremely polite and friendly. There is a wonderful library with good collection of books on birds, butterflies, insects, trees and all things that comprise nature.

I took my mum and my aunts for a short getaway from the city and we had a lovely stay. Everyone was really accommodating, the food was delicious, we even had a camp fire both nights. It might not be everyone's cup of tea but was absolutely perfect for us. Thanks for hosting us again. See you next time.

A lovely peaceful homestay amidst nature. Very good value and tasty meals. A great base for exploring the park and doing a safari whilst not staying in the town.

This is a peaceful place in an authentic setting. The food was great and the hosts were very kind. A few gentle suggestions to improve the experience: The fan in the bedroom is quite large and even on the lowest setting, it’s incredibly noisy; so the choice is to either sleep with an airplane sound in the room, or turn it off and sweat through the night: We didn’t sleep well for this reason. Another note is regarding the lack of maintenance in the garden areas. There are many planned areas for people to hang out and relax, but maintenance of these areas has been neglected for some time. Cleaning up these areas would allow the guests to enjoy the original plans of this property. With all of that said, we were happy with our choice and there was a very good energy at this property. 😊

Roopsi's place was as described in the photos. the location was easy to reach and were in a full size SUV. Although Roopsi was not present there, Vikki bhai took care of everything that we needed. Be it home cooked food for our toddlers or arranging a bonfire for us at night, we felt that we were at a homely place. it's around 30 minutes from Bijrani gate of Jim Corbett and the roads are very well maintained so reaching her place is quite easy. Vikki bhai is very accommodating and was ready to get us whatever we asked him. Even small things for our toddlers which we forgot to bring, Vikki bhai took care of it. it's not a hotel so don't expect a geyser in the bathroom or AC in the room. However, you can get hot water for a bath on request. Felt happy and content when we left the place. I absolutely recommend this place to anyone who wants to visit Jim Corbett and then unwind at a homely place.
