戴维斯 · 整套客用套房 · 0室0床1.0卫 · 可住2人 · Spacious & Bright Studio with Private Patio
This bright and spacious studio has it's own entrance and private patio. It includes a full bath, New Zealand queen bed (oversized US queen), kitchenette (microwave, toaster oven, electric kettle, french press, refrigerator), and work space. The neighborhood is quiet and friendly with several grocery stores and shopping centers within a 10 minute walk. UCDavis is about 10 minutes by bike, and there are buses available within a few blocks.
Amy's space was quiet and cozy with clean and lovely details. Just enough space for me. The patio was a great place to read and work. Also Amy kindly offered to help me with a luggage storage situation, and her family were so sweet to me.
Amy is truly a super host. Very clear directions and communications. This was the perfect AirBnb experience. Everything was as described. Spacious and bright. A great place to rest and recharge after a days activities in town. Lovely and comfortable.
I had a great stay at Amy’s airbnb! It’s beautifully decorated, clean, super comfortable and in a quiet neighborhood that’s close to all amenities (eg grocery store, park). Amy is a wonderful host; responsive and helpful. I’d recommend Amy’s airbnb to anyone visiting Davis who needs a friendly place to stay.
This is a lovely, quiet neighborhood with several shopping centers and a sweet park all within walking distance. About a 10-minute walk up Cypress Lane is Nugget Market – a full scale grocery store, often called a local version of Whole Foods – and a shopping center with a CVS Pharmacy, Verizon store, dry cleaners, and hair dresser. Nugget has a café, juice bar, hot food bar, deli, and salad bar.
Just south of us off East 8th Street is the Dollar Tree shopping center (also about 10mins walking) which has a Grocery Outlet, international food market, nail salon, Greek restaurant, Chinese restaurant, and laundromat.
About five minutes walking is Chestnut Park, which has two play structures, tennis courts, a basketball court, and a baseball field.
A slightly longer walk (15 minutes) is the Davis Food Co-op, a great local health food store, which also has a deli, coffee, & juices. In the same shopping center there is also Ken’s bike shop, which rents bikes, The Upper Crust Bakery, and a restaurant. This area is just the start of downtown. If you walk two more blocks south, you’ll find yourself in the midst of restaurants, cafes, movie theaters, banks, and shops.
There is plenty of street parking and everything you need is 2-3 minutes by car. However, biking is the #1 way to get around. We have one loaner bike (& lock) which can be used by guests. There are 2 bus routes that stop about 2-3 blocks away (E & L lines) and go both downtown and to UCD campus. Walking downtown takes about 25 minutes and to campus about 35 minutes.
