Observatory’s luxury Paragon block of apartments places guests a convenient distance from a range of attractions and only a short distance from the City Centre of the beautiful Mother City. Boasting 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and contemporary open-plan living areas, guests will be able to come and go comfortably throughout their stay. A compact - but fully equipped - kitchen features all the necessary appliances for self-catering, including island seating providing a cosy breakfast nook. The lounge features a beautiful leather sofa, a flat-screen TV and sliding doors leading to a small balcony overlooking the hustle and bustle of Observatory’s city streets below. Each of the 2 bedrooms boasts a queen bed and a large window for ample natural light. Both bathrooms feature a shower, toilet and single sink; the master bedroom has an en-suite bathroom. Communal areas at The Paragon make entertaining a breeze! Guests can enjoy the BBQ facilities, rustic dining areas, and rooftop splash pool and undercover deck showcasing stunning views of the city and Signal Hill. Paragon also features a communal gym and spacious clubhouse for absolute comfort and convenience. The famous V&A Waterfront is located only 9 km’s away from this trendy apartment, while the Cape Town International Airport is just a 15 km drive away. The nearest shopping centre, St Peters Square, is a brisk walk from The Paragon building and the vibrant Observatory suburb is one of eclectic nightlife and excitement. Whether travelling for leisure or business, The Paragon provides guests with all they need for an unforgettable trip.

This is a beautiful apartment. It is on the smaller side, but it is clutter free and there are great organization systems in place to make it feel a bit more spacious. The location is also great. I highly recommend staying here!
You can consider this as your last option. The kitchen area had cockroaches. I think this is due to the fact that there is no cleaning service unless you book for a certain number of days. The cleaning service is only provided once you have checked out. We were not provided with enough towels. The apartment did not have all the cleaning/kitchen tools and the host was made aware of this, however, she kept on emphasizing that all the tools are available. The area is very loud, especially at night. The pool, pool area and the chilling area were dirty. The host was quick to respond to messages and was available on time for check in. The security guards were very helpful and friendly. The apartment has good water pressure. The bathrooms were clean, but did not have any carpets for when you leave the shower. The Wi-Fi was working well, even during load shedding. The back-up lights were provided for loadshedding. Enough electrical sockets. The host, Charmaine was very warm and welcoming.

Charmaine, the host agent was very helpful, friendly and responsive. We encountered a few minor issues and she was very willing to help resolve. The apartment was clean and resembled the photos except it’s very small and some of the photos are of the gym area not the apartment. I would recommend this apartment only if you need to be close to the hospital ( which we needed) or for something specific in the area. It was very hot, there are no fans or air conditions. We had to keep all the windows open and because it’s on a very busy Main Street and opposite the biggest government hospital, a cemetery and next to a garage it’s very noisy. It’s not adequately equipped for long stays but Charmaine did buy some extra kitchen utensils and provide more towels. For the price it wasn’t a good deal if you coming in holiday. Seems like it’s catered for students and hospital staff.
We had a good stay, the unit was clean, tidy and well equipped.
