This was a great place at an amazing price. It was very clean, had comfortable beds, and was in a quiet area. It's location was great, I don't think we were more than 25 minutes away from any of the places we had to travel to all around town. Lastly, the manager was amazing. When they foundout we were in town for a family emergency they went out of their way to accommodate us and really went above and beyond to help take some of the stress off of us. We will definitely stay here or one of their other properties the next time we come to town.

This rental worked out really well for us when we came for my brother-in-laws wedding in Destrehan. It was a very clean, updated home. The location was fantastic; easy to get to the airport and surrounding cities, and LaPlace has everything you’d need to get through your visit (ex. WalMart, Matherne’s, DG, PJ’s Coffee, Planet Fitness, etc.). The beds were clean and comfortable. The A/C was a window unit but it worked really well, which in Southern Louisiana that’s important lol. The middle bedroom is the throughway to the bathroom, so that room doesn’t have a ton of privacy. If you’re sharing the unit with someone keep that in mind. We stayed with family so it was good for us. The neighborhood felt safe, plus there are video doorbells for added security. The property manager communicated well and worked with us when we wanted to stay closer to family, who rented the unit next door. There is a door that locks from both sides, and can be opened to connect the two units. This was perfect for us and made the experience even better because we got to spend more time with family who lives in other states. Overall it was a nice place to stay, and we would rent again if we are ever down that way.

This stay was for an older friend whom I help to make travel arrangements for, so it is not my personal experience. He was working in the area and there were not many available options for lodging. The host accomodated him and worked with his work schedule by freeing up future nights as needed. I did not give 5 stars due to things that I preferred to discuss with the host outside of the public review. The host did make some updates, like added an AC unit so that he could conrol his own temperature instead of it being controlled by the other rental unit. Overall the place is decent and reasonably priced compared to hotels in the surrounding area.
