Ein traumhafter Aufenthalt. Äußerst sauber. Sehr kinderfreundliches Personal. Das zusätzlich gebuchte Mittag- und Abendessen hat sehr gut geschmeckt und war immer frisch. Man hat sich sehr sicher gefühlt. Jederzeit zu empfehlen ich hoffe wir dürfen bald wieder kommen…

Gaafaru is an amazing island. Maldives are usually associated with expensive resorts where guests spend their exclusive vacations. They have weather, beautiful sea and relaxation. But the truth is that these elements are achievable in many places in the world. Gaafaru is an island where we can have a fantastic time, but also get to know the local, very interesting life of local fishermen. You can see how they eat, how they work and how they spend their free time. In the evenings the narrow streets of the island are filled with people and scooters. However, when we feel like relaxing we can go to a specially designated beach for tourists. Fantastic caretakers from Mirian Sky will take care of our entertainment. You can choose to snorkel on the surrounding reefs, fishing, kayaking or make a romantic evening on the beach. In addition, every day you can watch fantastic sunsets and eat local food. And all this for very little money. If you want to see what the real Maldives Gaafaru & Mirian Sky is the best possible option. We sincerely greet you all and see you again someday!

Pros: we had lovely experience in Mirian Sky guest house. The hospitality is beyond our expectations and we are really thankful for that homely atmosphere and extraordinary gesture from the host side. we were been offered a beautiful romantic beach dinner with home cooked food and soft drinks🥤 during sunset, kayaking, snorkeling with supervision which was very helpful for my wife as she is scared of water , and with their help and support she managed to do it, its a mesmerizing experience all together for both of us. RT-PCR test was done at the guest house itself and we got the result at the same night. Everything was arranged so nicely from the host side. The beach is like 3-5 min walking distance, there is a tourist beach which is guarded and its for us and rest of the beach is for the locals. The tourist beach is smaller but beautiful and well organized. There are 2-3 restaurants in the locality. one of them , do not accept card and the other one is really great and reasonable price and accept card and cash both. The island is very cute with a small locality where almost eveyone knows each other and people are very helpful and warm. Cons: There is nothing much to say here but 2 things to mention particularly for us , it might not be an issue for most of the tourist. 1. There is nothing to do after Sunset and there is not activities in the evening so its kind of boring and alcohol is not allowed in the whole island. 2. Specially for us , we were not aware of the clothing restrictions there as we went for vacation there and my wife was wearing shorts on the first day and she was been informed abt it and instructed to wear something till knee level as its a local island, which we didn't quite like , she felt bit embarrassed and for us we were seeing each other after a long time, it was like a feeling of not having freedom, but off-course we respected the rules and regulations and hopefully did not offend anyone's culture.

Gaafaru When searching for a place to stay. I stumbled across Mirian Sky, I read the reviews all positive, but for some reason I still wasn’t quite sure. After many messages back and forth with Immi, I was won over by a guarantee my kids would have a good time. Now, all I had to do was win over my wife. She was set on a brochure holiday with massages in the day time and kids clubs. When arriving on this gamble I did fear the worst, but instantly when meeting Immi at the airport I felt reassured. After maybe a hour boat ride we landed at Gaafaru, this is a humble island with a 1,000 lovely quiet people. The hotel, is basic but very clean, and has some form of satellite Tv, wifi (not the quickest, but it works, better depending on the time of day) and air con and plenty of fans. The food is what I’d describe as local cuisine. For me perfect, for my kids they have been given chips so they couldn’t complain. Now, we have been given daily tours with Appy, I believe he’s a cousin of Immi. He’s a lovely man, who after a few days has quickly become like a uncle to my kids. They love him. The tours have been excellent. For value for money and enjoyment this holiday has been excellent, I would say I’m the perfect kind of person to appreciate the island, I don’t require flash speed boats or daily greetings where I’m called “Sir”. My kids have had a great time. They don’t wanna go home. My wife has thoroughly enjoyed it, I still think if she had the choice she would be on a purpose built resort. If you read far enough through this review. My main takeaway would be to message Immi, if you like what he tells you. Then trust him like I did, and I’m sure you will have a fantastic time. I guarantee, he will make 100% effort to give you the best holiday he can.

Super vacances juste avant le confinement. Les guides simone et serena et le cuisinier mohamad sont des personnes très chaleureuses pour aider au bon déroulement de ce voyage de rêve. Ile habitée très agréable et loin du tumulte de nos contrée urbaine. Plusieurs excursions sont proposés pour les personnes qui ne veulent pas rester inactifs. A la fin de ce voyage on s'imagine déjà revenir profiter de ce coin magnifique.
