Although it needs some renovation and dates back to the 1800s, the space is clean, cozy, warm, and boasts beautiful mountain views. Enjoy easy access to Colorado's outdoor activities like skiing, hiking, biking, and sightseeing, with Ski Cooper and Copper Mountain under 30 minutes away. This historic building has both charm and quirks due to its age, but it's perfect for budget-conscious travelers seeking a cozy, clean, and warm stay. Had to pay fairly hidden pet fee which was $50 on top of the already steep $45 cleaning fee. This made it so I was paying almost $100 just in cleaning fees for a place that was supposed to be $40ish per night. With such high cleaning fees I expected the place to be very clean but there was tons of dirt and black hair all over the ground. There was also a note asking for a tip for the cleaners even though the place wasn’t clean. The entrance was sketchy and felt like the building was going to collapse. I feel like I got scammed and wish I didn’t spend so much money for a one night stay. I also told the owner that my pet is a certified emotional support animal yet they did not wave the fee which felt like discrimination against people with disabilities. In the state of Colorado it is illegal to require additional fees for an ESA but Airbnb might have different policies.

Had a great stay. The one concern was the payment, etc of pet fees through an outside agency and that all communication about the place including checking in, came through that agency and not through Airbnb.

Nice space but sheets had hair on them and smelled really strongly of smoke. Hard to sleep in bed because smell was so strong. Good location easy to check in.
