Excellent place to stay. Marvellous wooden decor and furniture. Alexa was helpful. I loved the wildish garden, with cow field at the back. Well equipped kitchen, log burner was a struggle to light, but once going was lovely. Very comprehensive information file about the area. There is no dining table in the main part of the house, only in the small conservatory leading into the garden. Nice room, but it was a bit of a squeeze for the 3 of us to fit round the table. The main bedroom is brilliant, but the other bedroom is rather small. These are small details when compared to the lovely house.

Beautiful cottage with a lovely garden. Fantastic communication from the moment we booked. Easy reach of the coast, Ravenglass steam railway and the lakes.

We absolutely loved staying at the Tree House, such a unique cottage and filled with lots of amusing hidden gems. Finding a dog friendly property that also has character and feels special is also such a bonus. Great location to access lesser travelled bits of the Lake District and a cottage that has plenty of amenities to support wet walks and the necessary drying off!

absolutely stunning property, full of lovely little touches , it was inviting , cosy and full of character. had everything you'd need and want for your stay. the only down side is the noise from the farms did keep us up , but this doesn't reflect the tree house ! Peter was a fab host and was very responsive if we needed anything nothing was to much trouble. we would highly recommend the tree house and will definitely be going back !
