We truly enjoyed our stay in Ozello at Christine’s place. The location on the water was better than expected. Beautiful and peaceful. The local folks we met in the area were super and there are 2 restaurants you can walk to which were pretty great - loved the Island Outpost and wish we had tried it out sooner. We rented a boat for a day in Crystal River area and snorkeled with the manatee in Kings Bay and then fished the waters out to Shell Island. We had intended to kayak more from the house in Ozello but the kayaks on the property were in pretty bad condition. We found 2 usable after doing some repairs and fit in a 2 hour tour of the wetlands which was nice. The house was large and fairly well stocked. New washer and dryer. Master br comfortable. House does need some maintenance - tub shower door old and off hinges. Pretty dated furnishings and some outside were rusted through. Grill inop.Probably best to request it be set up for you ahead of time. Great place all in all!
What an amazing home and location! We loved the amount of space for the kids to spread out! The deck is AMAZING! We ate every meal out on the deck with gorgeous views of the water. We saw dolphins swim by every morning! We loved the kayaks and crab traps! So much fun!!! I would recommend bringing your own fishing poles if you plan to fish. I’m sure it is impossible to keep all the poles in great shape with all of the different people that use them. Christine was very quick to respond to questions. We hope to come back every year!
Christine responded to questions within an hour. The house and grounds were as described. Loved the fenced in yard for the dogs. Many of the basic supplies were furnished. A great place to stay!
We very much enjoyed our stay at Christine’s and Bill’s. Their home was accommodating and so cute. The views of the water were peaceful. She gave us great advice regarding local boat tours and rentals. We definitely plan to return one day.

My husband Bill and I are from Tampa and we bought this awesome property in a Ozello as a getaway in 2019. We love boating, fishing, snorkeling, hiking, kayaking and just having a glass of wine overlooking the water. Except for Bill he is a beer snob. Our three kids are all grown but love coming to hang with us in Ozello as much as possible. We are a Proud and patriotic military family!
