This place was perfect. Taking the kayaks out was beautiful! The house was so cute, games in the sun room were fun, and relaxing outside was so peaceful.

The good: It’s beautifully decorated. The furnishings are high quality and the beds and couch are comfortable. The outside space is wonderful. The kayaks are nice and a troop to explore is encouraged. The game room is fun. The bad: The plumbing is all backwards. Hot is cold and on is off. On top of that, the en suite shower only had cold water and the other bathroom only had hot water the out door shower was the only one with both. The bedrooms don’t have good air flow. We had thermostat set low at night and bedrooms were stuffy. Ceiling fans would be nice or a standing fan would suffice. The ugly: The baseboards show obvious signs of flooding. A good primer and paint would help hide this.

Location and amenities were awesome. Being by the river and getting to kayak was such a great activity for our families. We saw manatees both days we were there. Very cool. However, they had a hot water issue from the beginning they couldn’t fix and we unfortunately had to leave. But their communication was fairly prompt and they gave us a full refund.

This place is great! Right on a canal. Beautiful scenery and home. The house is close to everything. My only complaint is the hot water heater was not working for the showers, we got hot water in the sinks but not the showers. Other than that this house is a 5/5.!

We booked this place for my mom's 75th birthday celebration. Having our family together was very special. This place was perfect for the occasion. We really enjoyed the bonfire, kayaks, ping pong table, and front porch swings. However, when we arrived there was no propane for the grill, the hot water worked very rarely (my kids managed to get the only warm shower of the weekend), and the microwave didn't work. I contacted Evolve about the water and they told me to contact their location contact for "boots on the ground" service. I never got a response from the contact. All in all we had a fantastic time despite the cold showers. We'd definitely go back but would be more "squeaky wheel" with any issues that arose. This place is gorgeous and oh so relaxing! Highly recommend.
