Completely renovated ('23/'24) 3 bedroom/3 bathroom canal front home located on an island in the heart of Crystal River, Florida, USA. The home is set up as a single-family home but will accommodate 2 small families or 3 couples. Our canal is 5 minutes from Kings Bay and almost every day we have manatees and various fish up and down the canal. The Gulf is a short boat ride away where you can scuba dive and fish year-round and scallop during the summer months (typically early July through end of September, check Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission website for exact dates scallop season is open as it varies each year). Numerous fresh crystal clear springs are located less than 15 minutes away by boat or 30 minutes by canoe/kayak where you can swim, snorkel with the manatees, and relax by the beach or in the shallows. There is a golf course 2 blocks away from the home (short 5 minute walk). Guest will have access to all areas shown in the picture gallery. The spaces include kitchen, great room (encompasses living and dining space), game room (pool table, poker table, board games, and corn hole boards), 3 separate bedrooms, each with an attached bathroom and large closet spaces, laundry room, and backyard with floating dock (8 ft by 20 ft with 2 gangways 4 ft by 7 ft; canal is 3 ft to 6 ft deep depending on the tide). The garage, one large closet in the master bedroom, and kitchen pantry will not be accessible since the owners frequently use the home. The kitchen has two separate ovens, a small microwave/oven, full size refrigerator, 4-slice toaster, coffee maker and microwave. King size bed in a master bedroom with connected full bath, second bedroom with a king size bed with connected full bath, and third bedroom has one queen size bed and 2 twin size beds and a connected full bath (ideal for a kid's room or third couple). The home is open and set up to allow for maximum natural light to come into all rooms. The home is most accommodating to a single family. However, if you are comfortable traveling with others in an open floor plan, the home will accommodate 2 small families or 3 couples comfortably. Since we use this home frequently as our escape to paradise, we kindly ask for no pets and no smoking or vaping. This will help keep our home accessible to those who may have allergies. We also ask you kindly keep the security cameras on the perimeter/exterior of the home visible for your safety and that of the owner. We are not located in a dangerous area, but we believe you can never be too safe. The exterior cameras record video of all perimeter areas of the property including front, back, and side yards. Basic toiletries and perishable items will be included with your stay including toilet paper, paper towels, coffee, creamer, tea bags, hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, body soap, dish soap, dishwasher cleaner, and clothes washer detergent. Our guest book inside the home will list all the nearby boat rental shops, marinas, boat ramps, parks, tour agencies, fishing charters, restaurants, and grocery stores. Owner will happily forward via email beforehand so you can make your reservations early. All reservations will be required to sign and return a separate short-term rental contract. Contract will be emailed to guest upon initial request.
