Really enjoyed my stay. The room and bathroom were exceptionally clean (and really well styled). Tabitha was a great host with knowledge about the history of the building. I felt safe and comfortable and loved the charm of the building. I would definitely recommend this charming accommodation!

Had a great time in the quaint town of El Paso at Tabitha’s home. Feels like you stepped back in time there. Very quite and homey.

The sleeping room was all that we needed on our way back home. The renovated building is very nice. The full bathroom was very accommodating. The Java coffee shop, within walking distance, has a great breakfast and coffee before you head out back on the road. The town is a place you could walk and cycle around.

The 1920s Salon is such a gem! Perfect for a pandemic getaway and history buffs who want to know what it was like to overnight in a 19th century rail town. The room is charming and warm (really, even in subzero wind chills in a building with incredibly high ceilings!) with plenty of extra linens and towels. There's no TV in the room but plenty of grounded outlets for devices and a strong WiFi signal. Tabitha communicates promptly and her pride of ownership shows through in every detail. El Paso isn't the most scenic destination, but if you're looking for a quiet, unconventional stay in central Illinois, The Legacy Building is the best around.
