Can't begin to describe how wonderful it was staying in the water tower! The property is so beautiful and the eclectic style of the various spaces was very fun! We spent two wonderful nights there and will be returning again soon and often!

Such a wonderful abode to stay at for the night! Really loved all the different animals they had, in fact I wish I had more time there to spend with the animals but I had to leave early for another obligation. Laura and her family were so hospitable and welcoming, it was such a pleasure meeting them all! Hope I get to stay here the next time I’m in SLO! Cheers!

This was our second stay here and we’ll be back again. It is such an awesome place. You couldn’t ask for more hospitable people. It’s just laid back and so much fun. You won’t be disappointed in your stay if you’re looking for something different. Super fun! Thanks again. 🙏

We loved Ben and Laura's place so much! Ben was there to greet us when we arrived and show us the truly astounding, eclectic, marvelous compound he has built-- an assortment of funky little buildings, workshops, art, found objects, friendly animals, gardens, bird filled trees, and more! We especially enjoyed building a fire in the fire pit and roasting marshmallows under a clear, starry sky. Ben gave us great recommendations for food and how to find a quick way to get to the beach to watch the sunset. The water tower was super cute and cozy with fun little details like forks for curtain hooks. The water tower didn't get Wi-Fi but we did get cell service. Its a bit like glamping since the bathroom is a separate building and isn't heated. There was a plug-in heater available to be used, but we didn't bother since the water was nice and hot for the shower. Super fun place and I would love to visit again sometime!

l did not get a chance to meet Laura. Ben was there when I arrived and was very helpful with information. made me feel right at home.
