One of the best vacation rentals our family has ever stayed in, hands-down. We were hoping for a warm sunny weekend to enjoy playing in the river while gazing at the mountain…well, Washington weather had other ideas. We had a beautiful first evening, then drizzle the rest of the time. But here’s the thing: it barely mattered. The sofas and chair were super cozy, the view of the garden was still beautiful, and our 5-year old got a ton of joy out of the disc swings in the orchard, and made a game out of protecting every slug on the walking trail nearby. Plus, comfy beds, nice showers, easy to adjust climate controls… We had a wonderful time, rain be damned!

Had a wonderful stay at Barb’s house. She left everything we could need and was super responsive to any messages we sent. The location was terrific. Isolated, but close enough to get any essentials. Would recommend!

What a beautiful location! We loved getting to see the salmon in the river right behind the house! We mostly had a rainy week, but loved the few glimpses of the mountains that we got from the porch during our stay. The area of the property is beautiful and we appreciated the local recommendations. The restaurant options in town are limited, so plan accordingly! We spent most days in North Cascades National Park which was about a 1 to 2 hour drive. Overall, I'd give the property 4.5 stars. A great spot to enjoy the outdoors and the home was clean. Only downside was taking care of a couple spiders inside the first night (didn't see any more after that) and a few items in the home are a bit dated. Overall, I'd recommend staying here for your north cascades adventure!

By far the Best AIRBNB we have stayed in. The updated and remodeled Kitchen was beautiful with everything you would need and more. Master Bathroom has been updated with awesome shower. The general living space if very comfortable and spacious. Ample spare supplies (batteries, light bulbs, and everything else we all have in our kitchen drawers/house/garage) in the event you need something in a pinch. This is a house that you feel at home! Surrounding property is beautiful and peaceful with full views of mountains and a beautiful stream at back of property. The Italian plum trees produce some great tasty fruit :) The guide book was very informative with great recommendations. Barb was very responsive, helpful and informative. Do not pass up an opportunity to stay at Barbs home because your concerned of where it is located.......the location should be reason you stay here......ITS AWESOME AND YOU WONT WANT TO LEAVE!
