自我介绍

I grew up in Atlanta, Georgia and moved to the North Georgia mountains 11 years ago with my husband to get away from the fast pace of city life. We fell in love with this area because it offered so many things that we loved such as jet skiing on lake Chatuge, antiquing at the many establishments close by in BlueRidge, Dahlonega, Clayton and Highlands and of course the many art festivals, our favorite being the John Campbell School of Art festival every fall. We also love traveling to Nashville for a weekend getaway to take in the night life and watch a few bands or head over to Savannah, again for the night life and the great seafood. Both my husband and I run our business, the barn at Young Harris, an event venue specializing in outdoor/barn weddings, also located on the 24 acres where our two rental cottages are located. We love being able to provide such a beautiful setting for the many young couples starting their life together. While it can be very labor intensive keeping the property in such pristine condition, it is extremely rewarding when we get to share in an important part of these couple's lives. All in all, we are right where we want to be, settled down in a beautiful mountain town, still working hard but reaping the benefits from our labor of love.
