In the woods you can pick mushrooms and berries well in late summer. 2 km from the cottage is the lake Hallsjön with a very nice beach and good fishing. Please note that the ponds directly at the cottage may not be entered. Nearby is an alpacka farm with farm store, which is open at certain times of the year. You must visit this farm, because you will get very close to the alpacas and sometimes you can even feel the soft wool. The town of Sunne is 17 km away and many attractions and activities await you there: Here you can do good shopping, visit Sunne water park and much more. In Torsby, 20 minutes from the accommodation, there is a cross-country skiing tunnel, which offers cross-country skiing all year round. The viewpoint Tossebergsklätten is another nice place to visit.
