It is well located for Bamburgh’s shops, cafes, pubs and of course the beach - all a short walk away. The magnificent Bamburgh Castle which commands the landscape can be seen from the front door. To the north of Bamburgh is Budle Bay, an important bird sanctuary, perfect for birdwatchers. We had the best time and I’m hoping to book again. The house was in a great position and parking was easy mostly. A great week’s stay with lots to do locally
Great location and ideal for groups. But for the price we paid for a small family, it was far too much considering the lack of comfort (very small sofas), mod cons or any form or luxury. It is quite dated in terms of the kitchen, bathrooms, bedrooms, etc. But the hosts were and left a nice back of stuff for our arrival.
I. The day of arrival we were contacted to say that heating had broken down. Luckily there was a similar neighbouring property available and we were efficiently swapped over with no impact to our holiday. Well done!
