We found this location so delightful we never even left the property until our weekend came to an end!! The views were refreshing to the soul. The family times around the fire pit were priceless. We slept 6 adults and 6 small children with plenty of room to spare. The kids loved the outdoor play area and that confirmed that we had chosen the perfect location for our family reunion. Bob and Gengie, you went above and beyond as our host and hostess. Your loving-kindness was so evident to us all. You two really have a gift for making people feel welcome. And our small grandkids will remember for a long time this special weekend in the country. Your chickens were a unique hit: our oldest Grand even named one of them "Fluffy". Thank you for the evident ways you prepared for your guests. And we thank you for letting us come an hour and a half early.

Hard to put into words the amazing view from the porch. We had 3 families with us, and the 3 full bathrooms were perfect. Clean linens and towels were great. We all fit fine. They graciously supplied plenty of firewood for the fire pit too. GPS took us right to the front door.

This was the second time for our family (three generations) to stay at Bob and Gengie's cabins. Our first visit was last year in December, and we all agreed it would be the perfect place to celebrate the holidays. So that's what we did this year. It was wonderful. The hosts are super responsive and kind. The comfortable cabins look out over the lovely Texas hill country. Trails on the property let you get up close and personal with flora and fauna, then the fire pit offers a nice respite at the end of the day. Highly recommend and look forward to our next visit.

Very nice hosts and location. The sunrise and sunset were both visible and stunning! This location is very secluded, peaceful, and relaxing. Perfect for extended family gatherings. There was plenty of room for all 12 of us. Amenities described exceeded expectations. Our kids were entertained outside for hours! We are hoping to make this location an annual visit!
