We worked with an interior designer who focused on using a mix of modern touches, southwest textiles, and of course luxury bedding. It has been extensively updated yet still retains many original features. The interior is open, peaceful, and sunny. The home is a two bedroom residence that sits in a quiet neighborhood next to a large park. The private backyard is has a wonderful outdoor fireplace and is shaded by mature trees in the summer. The front yard has been zero-scaped and in the summer large lavender bushes are in full bloom. Colorado Springs Rental License #1119 LIVING & DINING The living room has an oversized leather couch which is perfect for relaxing. There is a 40-inch Roku TV with apps . Additionally we provide a portable Bluetooth speaker for you to use. There is also an assortment of board games for those quiet nights in. There is also an essential oil diffuser and we leave a few selections of essential oils for you to try. KITCHEN The kitchen is stocked with everything you need to make some delicious meals (or just coffee) during your stay. Enjoy a full size fridge with filtered water tap, electric range and oven, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, coffee grinder, and a dishwasher. LOCAL COFFEE & TEA There is a small but robust coffee and tea station that includes both ground and whole beans from our local favorite Switchback Roasters which is only a few blocks away!l There is also fun selection of my favorite teas from Harney and Sons. COOKING & DINING There are plates, bowls, glasses, cups, wine glasses, pots, pans, knives, a strainer, utensils, and a kettle. We provide salt and pepper, and there are often other spices and a few dry goods in the pantry. Additionally, you will find a few complimentary snacks and chocolate for your stay! CLEANING & SAFETY There are some cleaning supplies including all-purpose cleaning spray, dish soap, dishwasher pods, sponges, broom and dustpan, mop and bucket, and a vacuum. There is a fire extinguisher and a first aid kit. MASTER BEDROOM The master bedroom features a King size bed with comfortable NEST organic latex mattress , high quality organic cotton bedding, plenty of pillows, and fresh linens. There is also a sound machine for those who need to be lulled to sleep by white noise. In each bedroom there is a fan and also an individual A/C window unit so you can control the temp. SECOND BEDROOM The second bedroom has two large windows, one with a view to the mountains. There is a queen size bed and oversized closet. The overhead fan and window A/C for individual zone cooling. There are extra blankets, reading lights and fun Southwestern textile decor. BATHROOM The bathroom is sparkling clean and you can expect spa quality shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and hand soap. We provide fresh bath towels, hand towels, washcloths, and makeup cloths, as well as cotton balls, cotton swabs and a few extra rolls of toilet paper. There is a hair dryer and curler for you use as well. And our guests rave about the heated radiant flooring. LAUNDRY There is a compact washer and dryer and we leave a few complimentary laundry pods for your stay. There is an iron and ironing board. PRIVATE BACKYARD PATIO There is a patio with a grill both propane and charcoal and an outdoor dining table in the fenced in back yard for you to enjoy. HOT TUB We just installed a 4 person therapeutic grade circular hot tub and use natural bromine cleaners which are gentler on the skin. The hot tub includes LED lights that have a disco option - what could be more fun? OUTDOOR FIREPLACE There is a wood burning fireplace in the backyard with lounge chairs which is the perfect way to end a day of adventuring! FAMILY FRIENDLY There is a pack n play, booster seat, baby bath for newborns and infants, kids dinnerware, kids cups and silverware, cotton blankets and crib sheet sets, changing pad with muslin cover. Plus we have a safety gate that can block the back steps. Additionally, there is a wonderful park across the street with tons of green space plus a new playscape including swings, kids climbing wall and larger play structure. PETS We happily host your qualifying pets, and there is a fenced and gated dog run area! . We allow 2 small/medium dogs or 1 big dog. There is an automatic pet fee added when you book a reservation and add pet. We do ask that the dogs do not get on furniture or beds though. We are happy to host both you and your pets!
