Our beautiful Victorian cottage is entirely separate from the main house although shares a drive way.it is peaceful, quiet and restful yet the bus stop outside will take you directly into Kingston (10mins) or Putney (15mins) .From the back bedroom you have a view over into Richmond Park which is a 5 minute walk away. The amenities of Hampton Court, Wimbledon tennis and historic Kingston upon Thames are all within easy reach and yet you will feel hidden away in a quiet , harmonious hideaway. The cottage was decorated in 2019 and as per my notes the windows upstairs are all being replaced this summer as the wooden sills are worn and the sill painting a little chipped . We apologise for them currently and will reflect the need for their refurbishment in the price until 18/6 ! We have a full size snooker table ! In the summer time the courtyard has a sunny corner for outside use too. The cottage is 130msq and offers spacious and bright accommodation perfect for a secluded weekend or work space in striking distance of central London . We occupy the main house which is next door and will share the drive . There is room for your car on the drive . ( only one tho !! There is parking just over the road opposite for more should you need it ! ) We have children who will play in the gardens although we allow guests use of the front garden aswell. The children are absent all week and respectful of your privacy and quiet at weekends The kitchen, dining area has an island seating 3 and a dining table with room for 5. The kitchen is newly equipped with Nespresso machine , toaster , kettle and cooking equipment plus washer drier and dishwasher. The sitting area offers two large sofas plus rocking chair. Upstairs the master bedroom has a king sized bed and sofa with full length mirror and looks over the tennis court onto the park . It is incredibly quiet . The front bedroom has a king sized bed with day bed which is a single. They share a modern bathroom with wet room . There is a large cupboard with hanging space on the landing and a chest in the second bedroom for storage . The whole cottage is furnished newly to a high standard. The snooker room offers window seating looking over the front garden. There is a courtyard between our house and the cottage but the cottage has a separate front door and guests will be entirely private and separate. I’m afraid the space is not appropriate for parties or big groups . We have a max capacity of 5 - which is 4 adults and one child . The 5th bed is a small day bed only suitable for a child Just as a note although we renovated the coach house a few years ago it is a Victorian property so we do have the odd door sticking or cupboard thst is s bit wonky .
