Ashlee was very helpful but she manages this air bnb for a company so her hands are tied somewhat The air bnb was newly renovated. However when we booked it said the bed was queen - it was NOT. I went to trouble to measure it - it was just smaller than a double. The laundry facilities are in a shared laundry room and you have to pay for them. There was no air con which if you look hard enough on the site it does mention no air con. They do provide a fan which does NOT do the job. It is within walking distance to town. To be fair it was cheap BUT the company has put their prices up and it is my opinion this place is really not worth it. There are other air bnbs in Vernon that are cheaper and in better areas with those little extra touches. I would not stay here again and I would not recommend it. However Ashlee did a good job of being a manager of what in my opinion was a thankless task. It is worth mentioning we were on evacuation order so we could do without the stresses of this place.

Pros: Very clean place and close to the hospital. Con: There was no clear instructions for check-in and lacked communication.

Tim's place was very clean and tidy. There was a full kitchen with some basic equipment. The bathroom was nice. Sometimes AirBnb listings indicate a "double bed", but really mean a queen bed (a bed for two people). This is actually a double bed. There was a fan to help cool things off. The blinds are attractive but do let a lot of light in.

The unit was recently modernized and is spacious for a 1 bedroom suite. The kitchen was equipped very simply. We didn't do any cooking but it was nice to be able to use a full-sized fridge, microwave and dinnerware during our stay. Tim had everything ready in the suite for our arrival. The window fan helped to cool the bedroom in the evenings despite the recent heat wave.

The unit is nicely renovated with a parking space very close to the front door. Tim offered us use of the storage locker out back, laundry room use if needed and also had fans in the unit during the heat wave (no AC). The unit is not far from the main roads so we were able to walk most places. If you enjoy walking, it is only about 40 min. walk to the Casino. Thanks for the nice & adorable stay!
