Situated at the entrance to the ancient Skipton Castle Woods Emily is a newly furbished holiday let on the ground floor of the Old Sawmill. Only 5 minutes walk into Skipton town centre - along the canal towpath with amazing views of Skipton Castle - and yet you will feel to be staying in a peaceful oasis. Emily sleeps 4/5. Check out Emily’s sister suite Charlotte sleeps 2. Separate bookings needed. Having a get together? - this place is ideal! Discounts offered on longer stays. Dog friendly. A beautiful renovation - you walk into an open space living area with kitchen. There is a main bathroom. Two bedrooms - one with double bed has a full en-suite, the second with one double and one single bed, shower and sink.

The accommodation is a lovely historic building overlooking the water. It was incredibly spacious inside for a family and the pool table was amazing. Great location for a walk into the woods or town. It could do with a couple of juice size glasses. The drawers in the main bedroom were damaged and no clothes storage in the 2nd bedroom? Minor items that can be easily rectified
Wonderful property at the edge of Skipton Wood, no passing cars, river adjacent yet safely fenced off. Lovely comfortable cottage. A haven for another enjoyable chilled stay.

We were two couples and two dogs staying for a long weekend. The accommodation is ideal for dog walks and easily accessible into town. The accommodation is accurately reflected in the photos and description so we knew what to expect. I would stay here again.
Lovely apartment great location close to town but very private.Check in very easy,and apartment clean, warm and great facilities.Woud definitely recommend and hope to visit some time again.

Skipton town centre is 5 minutes away by foot along the canal towpath. If you don’t want to walk back after sampling the abundance of bars and restaurants in town there are plenty of local taxis to bring you back. Alternatively if you’re venturing out by car the private road brings you out right into the centre of town - where you can set off to explore the Yorkshire Dales.
