While the home itself was beautiful and had beautiful surroundings, we had a very tough time locating the airbnb because there was a road closure that rerouted us an hour. The street that the airbnb is on is apparently closed every year from October to May and we were not notified of this. Because there is no service, it was extremely difficult to navigate and reach out to airbnb for support. We finally reached the airbnb after using maps without service and asking nearby residents how to get past the road block on the other side. Upon arrival, we noticed the rugs were not vacuumed and there were flies everywhere. Even after getting rid of the flies, more would come in even with all windows closed. The lower cabinets were not organized and it was hard to find kitchenware. Lastly, the grill’s gas tank was nearly empty and we couldn’t cook our steak tips. I reached out to airbnb for support during and after the process. The host was not helpful and refused to compensate us in any manner.

Five-star rating for the location; it offers a beautiful setting for enjoying fall colors, ensuring privacy, and boasting a stunning view. Pros: 1. Excellent location 2. Fully equipped kitchen 3. Entertainment options like a pool table and board games Cons: 1. Unpleasant odor in the laundry area, possibly due to a previous incident of partying and puking 2. Misleading information about the location of the sofa bed, which is in the basement, not in bedroom 3 as listed 3. Initial hot water issues, though resolved after contacting the host, resulting in a delay so we technically paid full amount and could not take shower or use hot water for one whole night and one half day 4. Excessive pet hair present throughout the house 5. Subpar cleaning standards 6. Insufficient lighting throughout the property 7. An unclean dishwasher that required manual cleaning by us to function properly 8. An outdated fridge 9. An overall dated vibe, with the basement having a noticeable odor

It was nice stay here but be wary. We arrived in the dark our first night with incorrect door code instructions. Had to stay elsewhere until we could get in the next day.
