We were dazzled by this place the moment we arrived. The location is uniquely amazing among lush green hills with a beautiful creek wrapping around the property. Outdoor space is spectacular with firepit, etc.. and hosts are incredibly friendly and helpful without being overbearing in any way. They had welcome gifts waiting for us including baked goods, local wine and even a birthday cake for my daughter. I plan to return/highly recommend!

We have stayed at Rich and Laura’s lovely place multiple times and have always appreciate it. It is a perfect setting, surrounded by nature, but only a few minutes from downtown San Luis Obispo. Lots of great hikes (some right out the door), nice restaurants, and wonderful wineries are nearby. Wildlife abounds! Turkeys, quail, deer, and song birds are seen every day. Hummingbirds hang around the flowering succulents on the patio. The Casita itself is totally charming and comfortable, nicely decorated and well-equipped with everything you would want or need. Laura and Richard are wonderful people and the most fabulous hosts ever!

If you are looking privacy and nature but proximity to downtown SLO/cultural amenities this is your place! Rich and Laura are super nice and their home is so welcoming! Incredibly serene environment that would be difficult to replicate.

The casita is amazing. The surrounding area is calm and beautiful. Kids played around the creek and made S'more at the fire pit. Richard and Laura are great hosts.
