Blue Gill BaseCamp was a great spot for our trip. Description and photos were very accurate. The amenities were fabulous. We are already trying to figure out when we have time to go back.

Tyler was very slow to respond pre-booking to the point where I was worried about him. During the stay highly responsive and even phoned me when I had a question. The place was nice, but very rough around the edges - dust caked on vents, comforters stained and blankets really smelled (as if they are not washed between stays). There is 1 pot and it is absolutely disgusting (burnt food that's unremovable) - definitely bring your own if you plan to cook. I had low expectations for the rental pontoon, but it was very dirty w/cracked seats and had tons of mold/mildew on the flooring - still very nice to tool around in, but pretty gross. The hot tub maintenance person showed up day 2 to clean, which is GREAT; however, it made it unusable for 24 hours (took forEVER to heat up), which was very hard for our youngest to understand (it was a cold day, so it would have been very nice for all of us). Overall, a beautiful location and we had a great time, but pretty rough around the edges.

The lake house was beautiful, Tyler was very helpful and accommodating, and we had a blast! The amenities and outdoor space alone were perfect, and the interior was cozy and well supplied. We’ll have to come back when the lake warms up a bit!

This place is beautiful! The home is cozy and is very beautifully decorated. It was easy to find and we loved spending time outside. We just found the home very dusty. There are some areas that have not been dusted in quite some time and there were areas that had not been cleaned properly. There was no soap or shampoo to use. There were however, plenty of towels, trash bags, laundry/dishwasher detergent, and they even left a smores care kit! I messaged the host about the issue with cleanliness and did not receive a reply. I would have loved to come back but based on the amount of dust and my daughter being allergic, I probably won’t be back.

We had a great day, we had a great host, we had an amazing day on the boats. I highly recommend we would love to stay here again.
