Lots of room for our family. Enjoyed the water and caught some fish! Nice privacy. Had some issues with a water leak and broken dishwasher. Had to text to figure out how to start oven.

PLEASE READ BEFORE BOOKING!!! This BnB is absolutely NOT as described. My Mom checked in and stayed here for a day before we joined her. We arrived the next night to see the place. I have to say... I'm very much not pleased with our stay. This place is not at all as pictured or described. For $350 per night, I expected much more, and better condition. A large portion of the amenities were broken, and in disrepair. There was a huge inventory of dirty and broken items. Also, for the hefty cleaning fee, I expected the place to be clean. Cobwebs, dead (and live) bugs throughout. Additionally, there were zero sheets on any of the beds. All of the pillows for the beds were flat and old. When we went to check out, we found the washer and dryer were full of wet laundry. (glad we didn't need to use it) The shower on the main floor and in the basement were broken. The staircase to the BnB and basement are unsafe. My Mom missed the bottom step due to the steps being uneven, and fell. I also missed the bottom step, but caught myself. We stayed for 3 nights, for a total cost around $1400. If the place had been close to how it was pictured and described, it might have been worth it. When I contacted the host about the condition, they offered me a refund on the cleaning fee, which is absolutely not enough to make up for the condition vs price. I took pictures of the place as we found it to ensure that we weren't held liable for the condition, and also to escalate to Airbnb.

Great place for a private getaway. Private water and balcony with great sunsets. Big yard for games. Cute breakfast place (Old Macs) just a short drive away. Good Crappie fishing, and lots of fun wildlife. Quick responses to questions. Great way to spend weekend out in the fresh air.
