This was the second time I rented this cabin. I absolutely love staying here. it's now one of my favorite places to stay. It's close to West Yellowstone national Park and stores and food. I've taken my family there and have taken a friend there and it's been the most wonderful experience. I will definitely stay here again. Thank you Wendy.

Smith-Lee cabin made for a great base location for visiting the west side of Yellowstone. The nostalgic decor from the 70’s made for a cozy and fun stay. The gas fire stove made the downstairs cozy and we loved hanging out in the den upstairs in the evening watching TV. Everything was as described and we enjoyed our stay. If you don’t mind staying 25-30 minutes from the entrance, this cabin is clean, cozy and a good value.

Overall, I do not recommend staying here. There were dried blood stains on the mattress cover, trash and old snacks from previous guests throughout the cabin, cobwebs throughout the home, a ring in the toilet, etc. The back door and cross-space were sealed with duct tape in place of locks. Wendy was kind and responsive to our questions and concerns, but the property has not been maintained or deeply cleaned in some time. I would recommend staying at the hotel a block away over this property.

Lovely cabin in the forest - old but everything we needed worked well - was just as described and Island Park itself had a few shops, restaurants etc attached to the ‘resorts. The only negative we had was the drive to Yellowstone - which was the prime reason for our visit. It wasn’t overly excessive but if we’d known we would have stayed in an area closer to the park ie West Yellowstone - but that’s just a personal preference.

Very comfortable cabin. Very peaceful with beautiful surroundings. Cabin is remote so sometimes the internet goes out. But we were there for the peace and quiet. Would recommend this cabin
