Our stay at Fattoria Di Plantravigne was wonderful. It's quite a property! Countless features both inside and outside the vila make it such a classic. It's evident that Angelo invested a lot in decorating the vila as well as its front and back yards. Additionally, the vast tree garden he built along the slopes behind the vila is amazing. Angelo was very kind and generous. He gifted us his home-made red wine and honey. His staff, Manuela and Martina, were very helpful. His cat, Machina, was super friendly. One relative shortcoming is the weak WiFi signal inside the vila, though cellphone reception in the area is fair and usually sufficient. Another possible issue is the flip-side of the vial's great uniqueness - it's old and full of antiques. Don't expect new or modern. This being said, the vila is well equipped with good amenities that made our stay comfortable. Overall, the vila is undoubtedly unique and charming; it certainly elevated our Tuscany experience. We stayed at Angelo's place for a week as a part of our honeymoon, and after being home for a few days, we still wish we were there! The house and grounds are gorgeous, full of old-world charm, yet with all the modern amenities to keep you comfortable (A/C in bedrooms, fully equipped kitchen and bathrooms, modern pool and outdoor area). Even though it was just the two of us, the house itself is huge, and we were already thinking about how to bring back family and friends! All the outdoor spaces around the house are lush and well maintained, as well as a huge private park area just through a gate in the pool area full of greenery and incredible views. On top of the house and grounds itself, Manuela and Stefano were incredibly gracious hosts. We felt welcomed by little gifts when we checked in and three unforgettable sunset meals on the patio personally prepared by them (for a very reasonable cost). We could not be happier with our stay and look forward to returning in the future!

La casa es, simplemente, espectacular. La localización es increíble (junto al paraje de Le Balze) y solo las vistas que se tienen desde la terraza (puestas de sol incluidas) ya merecen la pena. Pero es que todo tiene encanto: la cocina, los baños, cada habitación… Otros comentarios destacan el buen funcionamiento del aire acondicionado, pero por las noches no es necesario: el fresquito que entra por las ventanas es una delicia. ¡Volveremos!

Beautiful villa in a beautiful location!The villa was spacious and easily accommodated our large group and the pool was refreshing. We also enjoyed a delicious dinner and wine tasting prepared by Angelo and his wife. We would definitely recommend this villa!!

This is how you want your Italian vacanza: a beautiful and very spacious palazzo with paintings on the walls and ceilings, great hosts, a superb pool and airco in all bedrooms in a beautiful scenery close to Florence and Arezzo and many wine villages. A special mention for chef Manuela who prepared the real Italian birthday lunch for my wife and our group of 7. A must try if you stay at the fattoria! Grazie Stefano and Angelo, we hope to be back one day! Ps look out for posters of the many festivals in the vicinity of Piantravigne. And the market in Montevarchi is at thursdays; the espresso is a real art at Pasticceria Gelé in Montevarchi! Enoteca de la Torre in nearby Castelfranco Piandisco has a good selection of Italian wines.
