I love getsemani, cartagena so much! The location is so familial and convenient to everything. Here's what I loved. --The street is so, so charming! There are beautiful streamers, flowers, plants, mural art, and more. Every night, people gather for food and drink on the street. One night, my husband stepped outside the door and grabbed two delicious passionfruit margaritas for $6 USD total! We enjoyed them from the comfort of the living room. --Bedroom location. Even with the nightly parties on the street, my children and I slept without a single sound issue. We also travel with a small white noise device for our kids, but you don't need one for this location. The rooms are located in the back of the Airbnb. -The pool. It's hot and humid in Cartagena, so after exploring in the morning, we'd hang in the pool before grabbing lunch and nap time for our kids. It was amazing! Overall, it was a fantastic stay!

We loved the house as previously had stayed in the area, we knew it was busy and noisy but we didn’t mind that, it’s the Gestamani charm. Loved the vibe there, it was fun and so much to see and do locally. Wished we had stayed another night longer, the house had everything we needed and it was so lovely and clean. The lovely girl who met us to hand over keys was really sweet and very helpful gave us some great recommendations. The rooms are very comfortable and beds too. My only suggestions would be some extra chairs outside would of been nice as there where 6 of us. The outside area was really nice bonus too.

If you are traveling to Cartagena and want to experience an authentic area - look no further than Felipe's place in Getsemani. The Airbnb is on a party street located in central Getsemani, however as soon as you close the door to the Airbnb, you feel like you are back in serenity. The pool is a really nice touch due to the heat in Cartagena. This was a great place to stay for two couples. Felipe and his house manager were extremely communicative the entire time which was very helpful in navigating the city. Would recommend this place.

Our stay with our two young children was fantastic. The lively culture of Getsemani is literally at your door stop here, especially at night where the street transforms into a party each night. Our girls loved the pool which was a welcome relief from the heat each day. And Paola was a wonderful host, helping us from check in to check out. Would highly recommend for anyone looking to have a walkable experience in Cartagena.
