We had an amazing time! Not only is Frank’s home comfortable and met our needs, the property was perfect! Coffee in the morning on the deck over looking the water, amazing! The table indoors was big enough for group games! Rooms were separated enough for peaceful rest. Yard is beautifully landscaped with flowers. It was like home away from home! The yard was great for corn hole! The location was close enough to town for a bike ride or causal stroll. The water kayaks, paddle board and canoe were perfect for our water-loving family! My family is from 4 different states. Frank’s home offered us a place to connect and celebrate family!

We loved our stay. The property was even prettier than the pictures. The outdoor gardens were incredible. We saw hummingbirds every day. We also enjoyed the indoor plants. It gave the place a homey feel. We'd definitely go back and have already recommended it to a couple of friends. It's a great place to make family memories. Inside we had plenty of room to spread out, a great kitchen to prepare big family meals and play games at the dining table. Outside the deck was very popular, as well as the beach, kayaks, paddleboard and canoe. The property offered so many things for an enjoyable stay!

The Hillside Hideaway was a perfect fit for our northern Michigan vacation. The location was perfect, the views incredible and the toys provided so much enjoyment for all. We arrived at Frank’s place with ease - super easy to locate and check-in was a breeze. The property is on a very quiet residential street, away from the hustle and bustle and drivers were very conscientious of their speed, making it perfectly safe to walk, run, bicycle, and wander to and from the beach. The house and grounds are absolutely beautiful and it was ideal for our mixed-lot of 8 people. The first thing everyone did was grab a beach towel and head to the beach. All of the toys were enjoyed daily and the bikes were great for both exercise and running into town. We all had comfortable beds and ample towels and the entire property, inside and out, offers numerous areas to congregate with others or to slip away for some quiet time or a private visit. Three bathrooms meant we never had wait time for showers and hot water was always available. The great array of toys was enjoyed daily by everyone - and the bikes were great for both exercise and running into town. I grew up on a nearby lake and know what makes a fabulous lake house - and this place has it all in abundance. Suttons Bay has everything you need (including a well-stocked grocery store) and Traverse City, the National Lakeshore, and all the lovely villages and beaches and wineries are an easy and beautiful short drive away. Truly a perfect location. Only one suggestion would be to have some fans available. Do bring paper products with you and have a wonderful time!
