Valerie is a star, she offers a home from home in the heart of a beautiful village. The market is literally outside the walled garden but it doesn’t intrude so you can enjoy the peace. There are three bakeries, a deli and mini market within minutes as well as the unique charm of St Q’s ceramics culture. All the sights and attractions of the Provence are within reach. Nearby Uzes is beautiful. Valerie is also an artist and a very kind generous host. The house is full of French character and charm not all polished and sterile like some rental places, which suits me perfectly. The beds are comfortable the water is piping hot! Loved my month long stay. Thank you 🙏

Wir haben uns von Anfang sehr wohl gefühlt bei Valérie. Die Zimmer und Betten sind sehr gemütlich und der Garten (mit Mauer) sind super für die Erholung und für Reisende mit Hund. Als Kletterer war die Lage für uns perfekt: 20min von Seynes, 20min von Russan, 20min von Collias, und auch zum Wandern gibt es hier viel zu entdecken. Der Markt (Di und Fr) direkt vor der Tür ist sehr praktisch und auch eine Bäckerei und ein Supermarkt sind direkt nebenan. Kein Problem vor der Tür zu parken. Valérie ist eine sehr liebenswerte Gastgeberin, die immer für ihre Gäste da ist! Absolut zu empfehlen!

We really enjoyed our stay chez Valerie. St Quentin la Poterie is a charming village, especially if you are interested in ceramics. There are a few restaurants, though not all were open, and very close to the beautiful town of Uzes. The surrounding countryside is beautiful and there's a bus route just at the end of the square for trips to Nimes and beyond. A real plus for us was having an excellent supermarche within two minutes of the gite and a very good boucherie right next door. Also there's a market in the square twice a week. I was worried that the gite might be noisy right by the market place/car park but it's mostly just a general hustle and bustle of people coming and going and very convenient as you can always find a parking spot close to the gite. Valerie is not only an excellent, friendly host, but her pets — two cats and a dog — are super-friendly too! The gite has everything you'd need for a comfortable stay and is spacious and beautifully decorated. Highly recommend.
