The pictures did not do this wonderful oasis justice! The meandering walkway to get to the lake, sitting area, firepit and dock was jungle like yet easily accessible and manicured. My husband and son took the kayaks out and even caught a couple of fish. My other son was in a fishing tournament and there was more than enough driveway space for trailor boat etc. We took advantage of the BBQ, and had a fire at night. We did not spend much time there during the day, but wish we could have! The accomidation itself was super clean, well equipped with a big master suite and comfy beds. The hosts were wonderful. HIGHLY RECCOMEND staying here and would love to return one day! The Gallant Gang

We will never forget the first time we pulled up to the rustic ! we never felt so much peace. we felt like we belonged. between the cleanliness of the house and the beautiful surroundings we were filled with joy our entire visit. once we met the owners we fell more in love ! what amazing people we will never forget ! we would recommend this place to anyone looking for peace, nature and a wonderful nap.

Roberta and Skip are very nice people and the space is quite comfortable given it's basically a trailer. One very spacious bedroom and one very tight one- both with excellent beds. The grounds are beautiful. The dock area that goes with the space has funky furniture but Roberta and Skip kindly invited us to use their dock with was great.

Very peaceful place! We wanted a place where we could disconnect to reconnect… Beautiful native landscape and thoughtfully brought into the living space. Close to any and all amenities but you’d never know it! Very quiet and serene, especially with a fire in the pit by the lake at sunset! Super comfortable beds and a big, comfy couch by the fireplace was extra nice for conversation on the cold, rainy nights we were there! The kitchen was fully applianced and clean. The bathroom had a nice size shower, nice water pressure and quality products. We were able to meet the host Miss Roberta at check out who was so humble and kind. She showed us the other B&B on property the Peacock house which we look forward to staying at in the future! We truly have nothing negative about our stay… except for the hose on the footpath I mistook for a snake BUT that was all me!!
