Fantastic set of barns which we booked out for some wedding accommodation. The barns are stunning, very well equipped and very comfy beds. All the guests loved staying there and we will hopefully be back soon!
An absolutely perfect place to stay for our large mixed group of families and friends. Each barn is beautiful and homely. We hired the whole place for my 40th birthday celebrations and it offered everything we needed! A large space for us all to congregate for the celebrations and also separate living spaces for the families of the group to retreat to. The first night we made a huge meal for everybody and thankfully the kitchen was really well equipped for this! Everybody in our group of 28 were very impressed with the venue and have said that we must come back to gather here every year.
A beautiful array of barns. Great set up for multiple families who want to gather together for meals etc but also have some space and privacy. All cottages/barns are well equipped with cutlery, glasses, mugs, plates, pans etc. Minimal other additions (extra toilet paper, kitchen roll, cooking oils etc) so if there are a lot of you just flagging that for your shop/purchase needs rather than because we were annoyed - we were not. Large room for seating 20 people (with tables and chairs). We were there for christmas and there was a decorated tree in each barn which was a lovely and helpful touch that we appreciated. One barn (Blossom if memory serves) is on one floor and has a wet room which was very helpful with an elderly family member with ability issues etc.
a beautiful venue which we've booked 2 years running now. I would recommend it. Only had a few small issues: 1 toilet roll (for 10 people) in the Barn. Luckily we weren't using all the rooms so I was able to go and collect spare rolls when we ran out. I would have expected spares though! Cleanliness - small bottles of liquid in the fridge and leaves inside the room which I removed. Very poor mobile signal means getting in touch with anyone is challenging.
We had a fantastic stay in Goodlake Barns for my dads 60th birthday, the cottages were great and the hub was perfect for dinner, also to watch the football
