Unbelievable Villa!!!! When we arrived we was amazed by the location and view.. finding the villa was a little tricky at night but Diane was responsive and phoned straight away to guide us to our villa. Location is perfect for peace and tranquility but within reaching distance of local shops and towns. Local shops are great for essentials and Lidl not too far also. Villa was amazing and very clean with pool maintained every morning. This was by far worth every penny and the kids and us had the most amazing time thanks to freelance and this beautiful villa. The best experience we have had on air b&b by far and highly recommended to all, You won’t regret booking this and will fall in love with the island, people, food and surroundings as we did. Thank you so much for a holiday to remember and a holiday that will last a lifetime Best wishes David

A stunning location - private, beautiful views and close to many amenities. We stayed with young children (4 and 6) and the pool was perfect, lovely big private garden and inside had everything we needed. We would love to return, we couldn’t recommend villa Hera more as a base to explore Kefalonia.

The villa is spacious and simply furnished in Greek style, with a lovely verandah and balconies looking over the valley towards the sea. The pool was pristine but it was the beautiful gardens that we loved best - oaks, olives and palms and so many places to sit looking out to wonderful views. A very special place.

We had such a lovely week staying in Villa Hera! The villa itself matched the photos and aligned with the given description. It was clean, spacious, beautifully designed, and we felt right at home there. The kitchen was well equipped with plenty of utensils, fridge/ freezer, hob/ oven, dishwasher and coffee machines. Surrounding the villa was a beautiful garden space which was very well maintained. From the pool area there was a magnificent view, where you can watch the sun set and sun rise every day. There was a lovely seating area outside whereby we spent our evenings. The location was beautifully peaceful and we were undisturbed the whole time we were there. I would say renting a car is essential however, as the villa is relatively isolated and uphill! The drive around spartia is magnificent, with amazing views of mountains and beaches. We couldn’t have asked for a more friendly and responsive host! We will definitely be coming back to stay in Villa Hera :)

The villa is in a quiet and peaceful area. There's not much in the immediate vicinity but that's what we were after. You definitely need a car because the roads in the village are v steep and hilly with little room for pedestrians and it wouldnt be safe to walk. The roads around the villa are quiet, not much traffic. The pool was perfect and the seating areas around meant you could be in the sun or shade. Couldnt have wished for a better outside space. The views were amazing. If you're looking for a quiet, private holiday, this is perfect.
