Wonderful house and definitely as described. Full of character, loads of space, vast and wonderful gardens and very quick and easy to get into Monmouth. Great location for exploring the area too. Highly recommend and exactly what we wanted for a family gathering.

We had a lovely few days. We were 4 friends who were visiting Monmouth for an event at the priory. The garden is beautiful and to be able to lie in the garden at the end of a busy day was great. The house has plenty of space to spend time together but also to have quieter time apart relaxing if needed. Just as expected from the information provided.

Matthew's house was perfect for our reunion. So much space. Beautiful house. Gorgeous well kept garden. Lovely walks from there. Easy to walk into Monmouth. My friends were reticent but each and every one loved everything about it. Would go again if an excuse could be found.

We wanted a large house but with an easy walk into Monmouth and this place fitted the bill very nicely. Love the character of the property, the location and the lovely garden. Plenty of parking and plenty of room in the house. Great property. We'll be back next year!

Our stay at Priory Lodge was absolutely excellent & exactly what we hoped for. Would recommend to anybody looking to stay in Monmouth or the wider Wye Valley. We even found an absolutely excellent new Bangladeshi restaurant called Kutir Monmouth too so what could be better👍😂
