We loved our stay in Gorham's Bluff. The cottage is cozy, private, and well laid-out. The view of the river is fantastic. WiFi worked really well, and the office is great for remote work. I had an online meeting, and I thought it was a perfect space for that. The walks in the area are great. It was chilly, blustery, and rainy, and we didn't mind, because we were so comfortable in the cottage. We hope to go back. I'd stay at this place any time!

Incredibly quiet! THE VIEW!!! Best view we have ever seen from a shower! Dead end location is great. You rarely see another car or person. The nearest neighboring house was entirely vacant during our 9 days here as well. So peaceful & quiet here. So much to do around here. We went hiking every single day, went caving, & enjoyed playing disc golf as well. (All within 1 hour radius or less from the home.) The home itself & the grounds needs some TLC & some updating, but the peace & quiet along with the view sure stands out! We are glad that we got to stay here & experience northeast Alabama & all the beautiful scenery there. Thanks Dave!

Such a peaceful place. The views were amazing. We saw two bald eagles right outside the window from the sunroom. The kitchen was fully stocked and I had all I needed for a wonderful weekend.
