not really sure where to start with how wonderful our stay with Bernie and Steve's was. we felt at home immediately, their house was FULL of character, their kitchen warm and welcoming, the bedroom comfortable and spacious. The back garden was a true haven filled with flowers and birdsong. My partner and I had such a lovely time that I didn't want to leave and nearly cried saying goodbye. we'll be back and we are so grateful for the absolutely beautiful time we had with two beautiful people.

We stayed one night and had a super comfortable stay - thank you a lot!! After our stay, we realized that one night is not enough. We definitely recommend staying for a couple of days or better weeks! You will find a lovely accommodation with a lot of details, delicious breakfast and wonderful hosts!

One of the most memorable trips. A visit to their house was like stepping into a different world, the kind you read about in books and watch in movies. Full of a myriad of unique features and peaceful corners. But truly this stay was so memorable because of Bernie and Steve’s warmth, kindness, generosity and their edifying company ❤️

Bernie and Steve and their home are a treasure in this world. If you have the opportunity to stay here, definitely do. The room is beyond cozy and everyone in the community is so kind. Bernie and Steve will make sure you have everything you need and directions for everywhere you want to go. I will be back as soon as I can!

I couldn’t recommend this place enough, the room was absolutely perfect. Bernie and Steve went above and beyond for us, their hospitality was worth what we paid alone. Their place is a bit away from the local town but so peaceful, and easy enough to get to by car ! I’m already 100% sure that we’ll go back and stay here. It was like staying with a relative or family friend ! We had such great chats and they gave us incredible recommendations, they know the area so well. We came home full of love for west cork and the locals 🥰
