Before we checked in, I had asked about a few items, that in previous reviews mentioned weren't fixed. One being a pool table. Upon check in, my husband noticed that pool table wasn't fixed as a previous message from management company had stated it was. My husband called, then went up in person to management office and complained. Went back the next morning, in person, and it wasn't for that second trip, management probably wouldn't have fixed item. By 6pm Saturday evening, pool table was fixed. Granted, it was fixed, but management wasn't very understanding when confronted. Another aspect of house, is it needs major updates!!!!!!! From plumbing to windows to appliances. The positive thing is that the view was absolutely beautiful and we all (6 adults and 2 toddlers) have more than plenty of room.

Unfortunately, for the first time in 25 years, we were disappointed in our stay at the Outer Banks. We rented this home because it is ocean front. We also wanted a place where our kids could come together & hang out. So we rented a house with a pool table &hot tub & paid more for these things. Unfortunately, when we arrived the house was dirty & there were not enough towels & no working pool table. I took care of the cleaning because it was late & I wanted things in good order when my kids arrived. When I contacted the company about this, I was told someone would take care of the issues. I had a young lady call me later on the second day. She advised me she would get a gift certificate for my kids to play pool or something to compensate for the lack of a pool table & apologized for the cleaning. Still no towels! I never heard back from anyone. Finally 3 DAYS LATER I had to go pick up towels. Home needs much repair- exposed outlet boxes & other damage. We will not be returning!

This location is great but the home needs a lot of maintenance and updating to match online description. Microwave dead, dishwasher cut off halfway thru cycle, can opener broken, fireplace was locked up, only 3 teaspoons in kitchen, jammed screen door on 1st floor, 3rd floor balcony doors don't lock, 3rd floor toilet runs constantly, 2nd floor bathroom door doesn't lock, 2nd floor bathroom drains clogged, 2nd floor bedroom doors don't lock, under counter ice machine doesn't work, pool table missing #1 ball and pool table pockets are broken, 2nd floor pullout sofa is broken. Our church group left a detailed note in the kitchen at checkout.

Beautiful views of the ocean and nice wooden boardwalk to the beach. Very spacious house for a large family or group!

Exactly what we were looking for...A great location on the beach with easy access to the surf...Casual, large house with plenty of room. Great "beach house" vibe - sandy feet and wet suits welcome. Great house to entertain a large group of young people looking to have a beach weekend. Very convenient to have the grocery and several great spots to eat (super casual) within walking distance. We will visit again!
